Description
Natural grass is indispensable for football fields and gardens. Although there has been a recent trend towards artificial grass or hybrid grass due to maintenance costs, natural grass is still the most preferred flooring product for sports grounds.
Natural grass is environmentally friendly:
2,500 square meters of natural grass releases enough oxygen for a family of four for a year. Natural grass cover absorbs carbon dioxide, helping to reduce global warming.
Microorganism utopia:
Turf and topsoil are home to a host of beneficial organisms that break down and recycle organic and inorganic products that fall on the turf.
Aquifer Filtration:
The area within a typical high school football/track complex is approximately 2 acres. If 15 inches of rain falls per year, more than 2 million gallons of rain will fall on this area. Natural grass will filter water as it flows into groundwater.
Cooler Surface:

Grass provides a cooler environment for playing than bare soil, cement, asphalt hybrid turf or artificial turf. This occurs because the photosynthetic process in leaves intercepts sunlight by using the sun’s energy to make plant sugars rather than heating the dirt or another surface. Plants evaporate water as part of the process, which cools the water.
Better view:
The visual appearance and smell of the natural grass covered field makes people happy.
Less health risk:
Years of study have shown that there is no risk of tampering with natural grass when fertilizers and pesticides are properly applied. There is no such thing as long-term exposure to the elements in artificial turf , such as crumb rubber infill.
