Athletics Track Construction

The floor of athletics tracks has a specially designed structure to enable athletes to perform at high levels and minimize the risk of injury. Athletics track surfaces should generally have the following features:

  1. Softness and Contact Flexibility: Softness and sufficient flexibility should be provided during the athletes' contact with the ground. This reduces the risk of injury and improves performance.
  2. Turning Durability: Turning zones of athletics tracks must have a durability appropriate to the need for slowing down and turning in events such as sprint races and obstacle races.
  3. Non-Slip Surface: The track surface must have anti-slip properties. This allows athletes to run safely.
  4. Water Drainage: In order to be used even on rainy days, the track must be able to drain water quickly. This requires the floor to have a water drainage system.
  5. Durability: Athletics tracks should be long-lasting and should not require regular maintenance. It must be resistant to wear and weather conditions.
  6. Hardness Level: The hardness level of athletics tracks is carefully adjusted to optimize the durability of the ground and the energy return of the athletes.

Sandwich System Athletics Track

Traditional system for international competitions. The top surface consists of EPDM granules released into freshly applied PU compound, resulting in a homogeneous and seamlessly granulated top surface . The base mat is either a prefabricated rubber roll or is assembled on-site on site by mixing the rubber granules and binder to the required thickness with special paving machines.

Spray Coating System Athletics Track

Preferred ground options for a FIFA-sanctioned pitch include natural grass or synthetic turf . Both options must comply with certain standards and maintenance requirements. Natural grass fields should be cut, watered, fertilized and maintained regularly.

Synthetic turf fields are made of specially designed durable materials and require less maintenance, but regular cleaning and checks should be carried out.

2S Ground Athletics Track

Two-layer, permeable, seamless surface for athletics tracks and multi-purpose facilities. Both layers are applied on site by mixing the rubber granules and binder to the required thickness with special paving machines. The base layer consists of recycled rubber and the top layer consists of colored EPDM granules.

Meets all important international standards.
