Multi-Purpose Field Features

  1. Modular Design : Multi-purpose sports fields usually have a modular design. This allows the pitch to be customized to the requirements of different sports. For example, accessories such as a basketball hoop or volleyball pole can be easily added and removed.
  2. Lines and Markings: Multi-purpose fields have the necessary lines and markings for different sports. This provides a playing field that complies with the rules of different sports.

Ground Applications in Multi-Purpose Field Construction:

MULTI-PURPOSE SPORTS FIELD CONSTRUCTION STAGES

MULTI-PURPOSE FIELD > INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS

  • After the application work is carried out in the area where the field will be built, the ground is leveled to zero code and compacted with a vibrating roller.
  • Excavation is made on the compacted ground, approximately 20cm below the ground level, for the perimeter.
  • A double-faced wooden formwork, 25cm wide and 40cm high, is attached to the excavation site.
  • Two lower and two upper Ø12mm diameter iron reinforcements are placed inside the mold, and Ø8mm diameter stirrups are connected at 30cm intervals.
  • After the stirrups are connected, anchor pipes (Ø89x3mm) are fixed to the iron reinforcement at 3m intervals where the surrounding poles will come. Or, after the beam concrete is completed, the plates are fixed to the beam concrete with a steel dowel system.
  • Perimeter beams are created by pouring C-20 dose ready-mixed concrete into the perimeter molds.
  • The ground is leveled by laying crushed stone crushed stone number 2 (12-22mm) or number 3 (22-25mm), approximately 5-7cm high, in the area surrounded by the concrete beam.
  • C-20 ready-mixed concrete with mesh steel reinforcement at a height of (12-15) cm is poured onto the leveled crushed stone with a slope of approximately 0.5% five per thousand (varies depending on the project).
  • After the poured concrete is leveled, it is waited for (15) days by watering for it to dry (curing period).
  • If the floor covering will be done on concrete, leveling should be done with a trowel (helicopter).
  • At the end of the curing period of the concrete floor, 5cm high (0)zero (0-5 type) asphalt is laid and compacted with a roller.
  • It is waited for at least (15) days (gas to be released) before application on the compacted asphalt ground.

Multi-Purpose Field > IRON CONSTRUCTION

  1. After the infrastructure is completed, Ø76x3mm pipes with a height of 4m (varies depending on the project) are welded vertically to the (Ø89x3mm) pipes placed on the concrete line.
  2. 3 rows (top, middle and bottom) of Ø60×2.5mm pipes are fixed to the uprights horizontally by welding.
  3. Ø60×2.5mm pipes are fixed diagonally by welding to the long and short side corners of the field.
  4. For lighting, a total of 4 stepped projector poles are created on the long sides of the field, 5m high (varies depending on the project), using Ø60x2.5mm pipes between Ø76x3mm pipes.
  5. A hinged door is made from Ø60×2.5mm pipe from a place deemed suitable for the construction.
  6. The construction is completed by painting the entire iron fabrication with two layers of special metal rust paint (Ral 6005).

Multi-Purpose Field > WIRE MESH and NET

  • The field is surrounded by iron construction; It is covered with dip galvanized PVC coated spiral wire mesh, with a height of 4m (varies according to the project) and a mesh size of 40x40mm, with a wall thickness of 3.5 mm.
  • The interconnections and joints of the coated wire mesh are made and made ready for use.

Multi-Purpose Field > LIGHTING and ELECTRICAL

  1. 4-8 projectors with 400W Metal Halide bulbs (varies depending on the project) with igniter and balance in accordance with TSE standards are mounted on the manufactured projector poles.
  2. For the main power line to be used for lighting, the TSE certified rubber insulated 4×4 NYY cable is fixed to the construction and lowered from a single center to where the electrical panel will be located.
  3. A 10x10 sized covered junction box is placed at the center of each lighting pole for connections. The luminaires are output with a 3×2.5 TTR cable and connected to the main line in the junction box.
  4. In the completed construction, an IP 65 class (water and dust proof) electrical panel is placed in a suitable place (not exceeding 5 m around the site perimeter).
  5. 1 10A Pako conditional to be used to turn the line off and on, 1 group leakage relay and 6-10 C-16 fuses to be used to turn the projectors on and off are placed in the placed panel.
  6. Necessary connections are made so that the armatures light up in groups of 2 or 3.
  7. Finally, a grounding installation is made from a copper rod on the panel placed and the projector is checked and delivered to the "employer/administration".

Note:  It is the responsibility of the "employer" to draw and connect the main electrical network line to the panel, obtain the necessary official permissions, and draw the projects. Any work requested other than the work/transactions mentioned above will be charged separately.

Multi-Purpose Field > FLOOR COVERING TYPES

TARTAN FLOOR (Applicable to Asphalt or Concrete floor)

  1. The concrete or asphalt floor surface, which has completed its curing period, is cleaned and removed from dust and foreign substances.
  2. To increase the adhesion of the material, Binder (Primer) primer is applied to the surface.
  3. After the primer layer, black SBR granules with a diameter of (1-4 or 2-4) mm are mixed with the help of a mixer, using approximately 20% of the mixture (special adhesive), and poured to the desired size with a pallet machine, which we call a finisher, and waited for it to dry.
  4. EPDM granules (1-4) mm in diameter (high strength and resistant to UV rays) are mixed on the dried SBR layer with the help of a mixer, using approximately 20% enhancer, and poured to the desired size with a finisher machine and waited for it to dry.
  5. Finally, game lines suitable for the project are drawn on the created elastic base and it is made ready for use.

ACRYLIC FLOOR (Can be applied to Asphalt or Concrete floor)

  1. The concrete or asphalt floor surface, which has completed its curing period, is cleaned and removed from dust and foreign substances.
    Primer is applied to the surface to increase the retention of the material to be applied. (Asphalt floor is made with Primer (Polyurethane Binder), concrete floor is made with epoxy primer)
  2. After the primer application, a Resurfecer (a single-component acrylic latex polymer with concentrated 100% acrylic latex binder, mixed with silica sand and applied to concrete or asphalt floors) layer is applied to close the pores on the floor.
  3. Then, optionally, an elastic layer is created by applying Cushion (powder SBR mixture material) to the floor (varies between 2 and 10 layers depending on the category).
  4. Two layers of acrylic paint (granulimetric quartz filled, 100% acrylic latex binder, coating material with color alternatives) are applied on the created layer.
  5. Playing lines are drawn on the acrylic paint layer in accordance with the project and the field is ready for use.

Things to consider:

  • In acrylic and tartan applications, it is of great importance that the floor is made in accordance with the specifications so that the material can be applied to the floor in a healthy way. (Otherwise, material consumption and labor amount will increase)
  • Drying times of the material may vary between 24 and 48 hours depending on humidity and climate conditions.
  • For application, the humidity level on the ground must be 5% and the air temperature must be above +14°C.
  • It is not applied in rainy weather as the adhesion of the material will decrease.
  • The construction site must be protected to prevent damage to the material to be applied.
  • If application will be made on a concrete floor; Surface hardening chemicals should not be used.
  • After the concrete dries, dilatation (joint space) should be made on the concrete to prevent cracking due to ground movements.

SYNTHETIC GRASS CARPET FLOOR (Can be applied to gravel-concrete floor)

  1. Kircilli geotextile felt (m2/150gr) is wetted and laid on the leveled (gravel) ground.
  2. 18-26mm FIBRILATE/MONOFILAMANET Grass Carpet (See-TDS) is laid on the laid felt according to the weaving plan.
  3. Playing lines in accordance with the game rules are cut and placed on the laid grass carpet.
  4. The joints and lines of the Grass Carpet are double-component with the help of helmet cloth; It is made into a whole using polyurethane PU glue (adhesive).
  5. 18-28 Kg/m2 of sieved, washed, dried and packaged 0.20-0.70 mm sized, 80% oval silica sand is evenly distributed and brushed into the integrated synthetic grass carpet (varies depending on the product feature).
  6. Finally, the field is checked and delivered ready for play.
